Cryptocoryne beckettii 'Petchii' is a small variety of Cryptocoryne beckettii from Sri Lanka, which has beautiful, slightly fluted leaf margins, 10-15 cm long. Leaves become dark olive-brown with violet underside. Like many other Cryptocorynes, the leaf colour and shape depends largely on environmental conditions in the aquarium.

Limnophila sessiliflora it is a dwarf plant that shoots densely covered leaves. In an aquarium the feathered leaf shape is much more apparent and the colour changes to a light green. This is an excellent alternative to camombas which are a little more light hungary. The stems are better planted in large groups. The Amazon Sword, also known as Echinodorus amazonicus, is a Rosette plant that is extremely popular with many an aquarium enthusiasts.
